I personally had a pleasant experience here, considering the price I paid. Brian was the most hospitable person I’ve seen in many hostels I stayed in Mexico. The hostel might look a bit scary and not very well designed for this purpose as you have no privacy (no bed curtain, night light or charger for each individual bed and also the lockers are shelved and I wasn’t able to fit my backpack in. If they can work a bit on these little things, I’m sure they will get much better rates here. Gracias.

Located right in the historic Centre. Lots to see and do. The walking tour hosted by Daniel (the hostel manager) was very informative and interesting! The rooftop terrace is also a great spot to relax and to take in the views of Puebla.

Great hostel! Our dorm had a private bathroom attached and it was really nice and recently renovated. Also, our beds were singles but really big! And really comfy. Old traditional breakfast though - tortilla chips, salsa and fried egg :)

This is a super well-located hostel right in the center of Puebla. There’s a kitchen, rooftop, and common areas to hang out. The dorm beds are comfortable and each has its own plug and light. There are lockers and also drawers on the bunk beds that you can put a lock on. The hostel has cool murals painted on the walls and is full of plants to give it some life. The morning staff are a little quiet and rigid with the rules, but the afternoon worker, Roberto, is super nice and helpful. The hostel was kinda empty during my stay, but I really enjoyed the privacy and extra space in the dorm room after being in full dorm rooms in CDMX. The rooftop is simple, but huge the views are great. You can see more than 6 different church domes and the Catholic Church all from the roof—they look awesome at night when they are lit up!

Casa Vee Yuu is a quaint little hostel in a great location - a few minutes walk from the main square. The staff were friendly and helpful, in particular Alejandra was extremely welcoming and gave us lots of useful recommendations and even helped us practice our Spanish. Thank you for a wonderful stay :)

Great location, nice hot breakfast, low cost, huge variety of travelers, secured gate, cool rooftop area. Rooms and bathrooms are pretty basic and old school but that's part of the charm and feel (aka inconsistent water pressure and temperature, no heating or AC from my stay). Just in a few days, I spoke to travelers from Colombia, Brazil, US, UK, Germany, etc, some of whom were working for accomodation if that's your thing.

This is a really cute hostel, it’s super quaint and quiet. It has a rooftop and it’s super pretty. Staff was very welcoming. Location is great, near to everything you may want to see. Only things are that the shower pressure isn’t great and the lockers for your stuff aren’t big / there aren’t enough.

Really good price for a big room with three beds, high vaulted ceiling with a skylight which let in a lot of natural light, bed was comfortable and the pillow was really plump-a lot better than what I got in CDMX. Great location in the historic centre of Puebla. Private bathroom. The only thing I really didn't like was that the bathroom shared a wall with the bathroom of the room next door and it was open at the top so you could hear everything happening in the other bathroom, it wasn't really an issue for the one night I stayed but it made it feel less private like I was one stall over from someone else using the bathroom Would definitely book again, bummed I didn't know about the rooftop patio until I came to write this review. Nice common area with couches and art.
